Box #45
In this week's video, Benji breaks down how we choose what goes in the box each week.

NEWS AND NOTES

  • We have been wanting to team up with Chef Meagan all year and we finally were able to make it happen.  These salsa's and soups are going to be made fresh to order each week and we are going to start rotating the menu through the holidays.  This is the type of thing I will be ordering a lot of and then freezing it for later in the winter.  Ingredients are almost entirely YB sourced.

  • Each week we have leftover produce that is still in near perfect shape.  We donate much of that but we also wanted to allow everyone a chance to claim some of it.  Who doesn't love a GRAB BAG?

It's always nice at this time of year to be able to donate produce.  We work EACH WEEK with 6 food pantries and 5 churches that provide hot meals.  The biggest thing they always tell us is that they almost never have access to FRESH FOOD.  In this case, they would be grateful for any produce, let alone the best OHIO has to offer.  This is possible because of YOU!  Donate if you can.

Last week we donated 27!

  • Aint no party like a fall produce party...are you kidding me on those watermelon radish's??
