Hellow Yellow Friends,

Your feedback of the Thorpes products from Florida was awesome and could best described by Sara J…
”Omg the fruit was awesome. Thank you so much for finding a great partner to bring some sunshine to our Ohio winter fare! I mean, these greens are nurturing my soul, don't get me wrong. But I can't tell you how awesome it was to bite into some fresh, honest strawberries this week. Don't second-guess this decision for a minute.”

Fresh and Honest are great descriptor words for what we are trying to do here.

We are following up this week with some of their OJ.  One of my favorite phrases right now…”Is the Juice worth the squeeze?”

Also, for the bases and fulls...Yuca aka Cassava aka Tapioca
How to use
The yuca root can be put to use in a wide variety of ways. We know we're starting to sound like a broken record, but it's not just us; Steven Raichlen calls it "one of the most versatile roots in the vegetable kingdom." So get cooking:
Keep it simple and mash yuca like potatoes.
Boil chunks of yuca and then top them with mojo.
Like most roots, yuca lends itself well to frying -- either as chips, fries, or fritters.
Add yuca to soups and stews.
Similarly to taro, yuca can be used in sweet dishes like custards and cakes.

We are starting wrap our heads around what the rest of the year looks like for us but for now, keep spreading the word about tasty, clean, local food ALL YEAR.  I get a lot of, “When does the new season start up?”

We will definitely put a date on the board and make a push for 2020 signups, but keep reminding everyone that this is now YOUR NEW WAY TO GET GROCERIES, YOUR NEW WAY TO EAT, YOUR NEW YOU!!!....12 months a year.

Boom.  Mic Drop.  Bird Droppings.  Gross
