                       Well isn’t this fun?

There is a lot happening here at YB that we want to prepare you for.

We have seen a tremendous increase in sales in 2 places...store orders and home deliveries.  To try and keep up with demand, and stay ahead of all the quarantine and social distancing rules, we will be implementing some new processes.

In order to stay ahead of any more “surprises”, we are going to be switching our “public drop-offs” to “parking lot pickups”.
**This will only affect Columbus Pickups
What this will mean is that we will have 6-8 Spots around the city that we are driving to, parking, handing your orders out to you, and then moving on.
This will:

  • eliminate any unnecessary “touches”
  • eliminate surprise store closures or early closures
  • guarantee that your orders are all found
  • guarantee the quality of all the food is perfect as it will never leave refrigeration

MANY of the pickup spots will be the same, we will just be moving to the parking lots outside of the facility.
Each member will be informed of the times, locations, and any changes that might affect them.
If you miss your assigned pickup spot, you will be able to head to the next spot to meet the driver at that location to pick up your order.
If you miss all weekly pickup options, the final “catch-all” will be at Swainway Urban Farm every Saturday from 10am-1pm (4662 Indianola Ave.)

After we have handed you your orders, please check everything at the location to make sure that you got what you ordered and that it is in good condition.
**AFTER YOU LEAVE WITH YOUR FOOD ORDER, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE REFUNDS OR ADD CREDITS FOR DISCREPANCIES

All of this is in an effort to serve you, our customers, our members, our shareholders, with the ability to continue to order and receive the best in locally grown food.  We have always been quick to fix any issues with customers, as well as loyal to only the growers and producers that are doing things in what is our best estimation as sustainably viable through both good times and crisis.

Right now we find ourselves in the latter and we want to be able to expand our company to serve those new needs as they arise and right now we are pivoting on the fly to be able to do that for both our growers and our members.

Stay patient with us and we navigate these new waters together.

Working round the clock is not always fun, but we do it for you and we do it now more than ever because of how important we believe healthy food is for both you and the future of our planet.

Gratefully And In Health,
The Yellowbird Team
