Let's talk Sneak's, Kick's, and Tennie's.
Over the year's, my love for shoes has grown but like all good relationships it's complicated.
I don't love ALL shoes or even like going into shoe stores. I only really like about 3 different styles of shoes, but each of those I LOVE.
I hunt for them. I will pull the car over and go into an outlet store just to look for a pair, which as you can imagine, means I say this a lot..."Just stay in the car, I'm only looking for one thing so I'll be right back."
1 in 1000 times I emerge with the emerald of rarest beauty.
Here are my 5 favorite shoes I've owned.
#1: Brown Classic Tom's
#2: White Canvas K-Swiss
#3: Original Jordan IV's
#4: Reebok Crossfit Nano 5.0
#5: North Face Hayden Chukka Shoe
Just like always, I do these lists and then look at my choices and see a pattern. In this case, with the exception of the Jordan's, I had each of those shoes laced up so that I did NOT have to tie them. I just slipped my foot in and out each time.
And to further cement that point, I now look down at the Adidas Gazelle's I am wearing and realize that I have not tied these since I bought them and tied them up the first time. So the shoe must not matter as much as will they tie up, slip on, and then give me the moccasin feel that I am looking for?
I hope your list reveals something you didn't already know about yourself.
