Welcome to your St. Patty’s Day box!  Plenty of cabbage and potatoes to add to anything you might be making.  The kraut from last week might be something you can use  you can use as well.
Something new. Galangal Root: Similar to ginger except it can't be grated and must be sliced. The flavor is strong - earthy, sharp, and extra citrusy.

NEW STORE PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!!
WILD CAUGHT ALASKAN SALMON AND COD.
*Click on the pics below to order!

A couple years ago I was looking for a DIRECT connection to a fisherman/woman out of Alaska that I could buy WILD CAUGHT fish from…(hard to believe that I don’t trust the grocery stores or websites right?!?!).  I got ahold of Heidi from The Wild Salmon Co. and talked to her for like an hour about where they fish out of.

Side note:  Turns out it’s right outside of Juneau where my wife and I met and worked for a summer way back in 2002.

Back to the story:  Her and her husband/partner/babydaddy fish in a family business that has traveled around the globe together (many times by boat)...read the whole tall tale here.

I personally ordered their fish and have reordered a few times since then, always hoping that we would be able to get a BIG order for our members.

THIS FISH IS SOOOOO GOOOOOOD.  I love salmon but actually like the cod the best.  It is so oily and buttery and all I ever put on it is salt and pepper.

Bottom line:  We made it happen.  We have it in house...order it so that you have it in YOUR house.

Couldn’t be more WILD CAUGHT, couldn’t be more SUSTAINABLY CAUGHT...it’s literally a human on a boat...fishing.

TEASER ALERT...next week’s box...3/14/20 aka Pi Day!!
