This week’s deliveries will make 47 straight weeks for the YB team!  We have been blessed enough to stay healthy and open through all the craziness of 2020.

That being said, we will be taking the week of Thanksgiving COMPLETELY OFF!

BUT FEAR NOT!!  The week following Thanksgiving we will be back to our previously scheduled deliveries.

Let me continue to assure you that we have been building this company and this foodshed with the worst case scenario in mind.  We truly are participating in a resilient rebuilding of our local food economy.

There are millions of people across the country that are worried about what will happen to their food supply if we go back into a situation where things get shut down.  Let me assure you that we have begun to buy, reserve, and even store in our warehouse AS MUCH FOOD as we possibly can find right now.

In my opinion, food in hand is more important than almost anything else at this point (including toilet paper).  And all of this is for US, THE FOODSHED, we have built right here in Ohio.

Folks, it has been a year of adjustment for ALL.  Thanksgiving will most likely not look the same as it has for you in the past.  Let’s all continue to make a concerted effort to remember that this is affecting EVERYONE and that we can continue to UNITE, or we can continue to DIVIDE.

With the same vigor that you have committed to your food choices, commit to uniting with each other.  We are changing our soil, communities, and bodies with each week of deliveries we get from our farms.  Let’s keep changing our minds, hearts, and relationships in the same way.

May your hearts and homes be filled to capacity with LOVE, PEACE, and GRACE this coming week, and may we all come back together ready to continue to the work of reconciliation to our planet, our communities, and ourselves.
