It’s that time of week, where we all gather round the dinner table and start to see what Ohio (and sometimes Florida) has to offer us.

Sunsprout Farms of Central Ohio is a well established sprout farm that we have wanted to work with for years….nothing like a little pandemic to bring together NEW PARTNERSHIPS!

The first signs of asparagus showed up this week and they will be going out in the FULLS.  Bases and Mini’s stay tuned though because you will be next up.

What the DUCK?!?...eggs

Let’s talk meat...shortages.  Right now we are pretty well stocked up because we bought a lot in the fall.  We store it at a giant freezer space in Utica, OH so we keep running back and forth to get more.  At the pace we are selling it right now, we will have more to replenish it before you even know it’s gone.

We do run out of what we have on hand frequently but keep checking back as we add more each week to make sure we are keeping our store topped off.

LAST FOR TODAY...we have a fresh shipment of the The Wild Salmon Co. salmon on it’s way so in the next couple of weeks that favorite will be back in stock.

Thought for the day:
As we see the “headlines” around the “unstable” food system, remember that it’s unstable because the corporate giants that have built it, were not building it to take care of the land, farmer, animal, consumer, and food products.  They were building it to sell us a cheap, homogenized, bland, de-nutrified, easily transported pieces of things that look like food but are literally starving us of what we need to flourish as planet and homo sapiens.

As grandpa always said, “You get what you pay for.”

THERE IS PLENTY OF REAL FOOD AND IT’S TIME WE START EATING LIKE IT!
