First, thanks for the continued support to me and my family (both home and work family). We carry the weight of the responsibility of getting a lot of people the food they need to be their best selves, and we continue to make mistakes along the way. Your grace and forgiveness to us have meant the world.
We are at a crossroads now. We have talked throughout this about how when this is "over", the big companies that have been responsible for many of the problems that we now face (specific to us is always the corporate food industry), will try and gaslight us into thinking that everything is OK and can now go back to normal. There will be messaging that will try and lull us back to sleep. DO NOT TOUCH THE TURKISH DELIGHT! (hopefully, most of you will get that reference).
Those systems and industries rely on us NOT thinking critically about the repercussions of our decisions and actions.
This pandemic has exposed EVERYTHING.
We've proven together, that we CAN and WILL take the necessary steps to make change. I don't care if you think the quarantine was good or bad...we ALL participated at some level, proving that we ALL CAN and WILL make adjustments if we have to.
Guess what?!? WE HAVE TO!!
Don't wait until things begin to change back to a new "normal" to start deciding how you and your crew are going to be different moving forward. If you wait until it happens, you are too late. Continue, or BEGIN to practice new rhythms and actions now that will lead to personal change, and then to corporate change as a global community healing ourselves and our planet.
THIS IS NOT EASY...if it was easy we would have done it long ago. BUT IT IS NECESSARY.
And now, here is what I have been consuming in the 5 minutes between work and sleep...

I've mentioned him before and will again I am sure. I will never stop reading these same stories over and over. These books are like his "Friday 5".

Nothing better than watching a master performing his craft. It's an hour...I would have listened for 10.

It's "Saved By The Bell" meets "LOST" meets "The CW Network" meet "Nicholas Sparks" meets "Can't Hardly Wait" meets "OZARK"
