Whew....I'm not sure how to write that sound you make when you take a deep breath and then blow out a relaxed and rejuvenated noise.
I turned 40 last weekend and it's been monumental. My friends and family showered me with words, time, surprise after surprise, good food, laughs, and on top of that the weather has been phenom.
After an explosion of growth, we are finding our sea legs as we navigate these new horizons in food and community and health and shopping habits.
This week, for the first time since March, I am getting to write the "Friday 5", before Friday actually gets here.
Let's continue to navigate these times together...Let's take care of one another. Turning 40, although way more physically painful (mostly my shoulders when I wake up in the morning), has actually brought me clarity on the things that matter. I'm ready for the second half.
My mom says it like this, "You look your best in your 30's, you feel your best in your 40's, you realize you don't know anything in your 50's, then in your 60's you actually know something but you are too tired to tell anyone." This hold true for anyone?
